SPECTRAL REALMS, Hippocampus Press' new journal devoted to weird poetry, is now available for purchase, and some new info, including a table of contents and a wicked cover illustration, is now up at their site!

This will be a landmark publication for the genre of weird and fantastical poetry--a genre often neglected or even condemned in former years. Now at last, weird poetry has a home. Within the covers of SPECTRAL REALMS, this genre can at last be nurtured and encouraged, studied and enjoyed. Genre greats--Ann K. Schwader, Richard L. Tierney, W. H. Pugmire, Leigh Blackmore, Fred Phillips--appear next to names that are on their way to weird stardom. No connoisseur of horrific or fantastic verse can afford to miss this exquisite offering.

I am excited to receive my copy, for the contents alone promise a great read. I have 3 poems in this issue and one of them, Carathis, is inspired by the character in the Gothic novel Vathek, by William Beckford.
