Everyone is talking about TRUE DETECTIVE and how weird writers are being winked at on telly. I was watching ye new episode of ENDEAVOR on Masterpiece Theatre last night, an episode called "Nocturne" -- and there was a sudden mention of "an odd American couple" visiting from some place called Kingsport, MA. Doing a wee check online of the episode, I found the list of characters -- and the visiting American bloke is named "Nahum Gardiner." Blimey!
