forthcoming CAS paperbacks?

I am very thankful for The Collected Fantasies of Clark Ashton Smith published by Night Shade. It has been more than 4 years since they completed the set. Are there any plans to release these in paperback?

(I am aware of the CAS paperback published by Penguin.)

I'd love to see reprints of these as well. I have the Audible and eBook versions of them, but would love to have the a collection of the physical printed books themselves. However, some of the books in this series are going for $400 to $500 each in the secondary market and that's just well beyond what I could afford for a single book. Even getting the whole collection for that kind of money would be quite prohibitive. Hopefully NightShade Books hears out pleas and re-releases this wonderful series in se capacity.

Congratulations! (Gotta love that incorrect colouring on the spine of volume 4!)

I think you made the right decision. Previous experience with NSB would indicate that even if they do decide to reprint these priceless tomes, they'll take years to do it. And the typesetting will still be ugly.

Enjoy your book!

Does Night Shade Books even exist anymore?

Their website still exists and show upcoming releases, so I'd assume it's still a viable entity. Oh, and Avoosl,
I definitely noticed that different colored text on the spine as well, lol, stuff like that always irks my eye.

Is this for real? I did verify by looking up the ISBN in Worldcat, so it seems legit.

Ah, now that's promising! I hope these paperbacks are swiftly and widely released.

I hope the same, but i would like to have the original hardback editions reprinted...the prices on amazon are disgusting.

Why is this spread out over three years? Why not release all of them at once?

I for one am glad that 3 of them will become available next year!
