Dear D Boyd -

As to the presence of a "kid" -- you are all young enough to be my
kids -- although, in noticing the double entry, I should warn you
from experience, repeating yourself is sign of advancing age. Repeating
yourself is a sign of advancing age, repeating yourself is....

What type of Metal is it? Is there any chance of getting samples, as there are none on your site? Thanks...

Your description is pretty close. Just remember: Tsathoggua may look like a frog to us, but to him, we all look like flies.

That would explain the earth tremors that have been shaking Auburn recently.

Clark didn't have a radio, although he did listen to it at friends' homes, but usually stuck to classical music. He was particularly fond of Debussy, Wagner and Holst. The Sully girls were members of the Sacramento Symphony, and Clark frequently attended their rehearsals and concerts. I don't know of any equivalent for CAS of HPL playing "Yes, We Have No Bananas" on the church organ, though.

There is in my memory banks references which Clark and I made (after
a little burgundy) of those quality base notes which the "nether
organ" is capable of producing. Also you may recall (on a similar
note) the "...horses vatitty who played a dumb ditty called
'Sweet Adeline'..."

I've long had dreams of seeing Smith headbang to a bit of Electric Wizard or groove on down to The Funeral Orchestra...

Also, for those of you interested, there is a PC game coming out based on Lovecraft's writings on August 31st, 2004. It is called Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.

Here is the link:

[pc.ign.com]

Check out some of the reviews and perhaps some of the haunting screenshots or video previews.

Here is a small quote from a review:

"the main character sits in a mental hospital, Arkham Asylum, crouched on the ground amidst strange scrawls. He's about to kill himself. The crazy thing about this is that it's actually showing the end of the game. Jack Walters has gone slowly insane over the course of this adventure. And the game will help us find out why.

The first actual mission that we were shown was called The Esoteric Order of Dagon. Father Dagon is a big mean monster that really has no place in our harmless little world. This order is all about worshipping this Dagon. Jack wanders into their temple, the only classy building in all of Innsmouth where the game takes place..."

Personally, I don't know if I will buy it, but time will tell.
