Thank ye. There used to be a site called Temple of Dagon that was completely taken over by these spammers, to ye point where I completely lost interest in visiting the site. Such users should be immediately banned.

I agree. The Google group alt.books-ghost-fiction used to be a wonderful place to discuss all kinds of weird fiction, but trolls and spammers eventually drove everyone away.
