Does anyone know if the article "Clark Ashton Smith—His Life and Letters" - first published in *The Auburn Journal*, next published in 'The Eyrie' *Weird Tales* March 1942 - has been published anywhere else?

Funny you should ask. It has been reprinted—in the future. There's a clipping of the thing among his letters to Derleth, I think. It's in the CAS/Derleth book. A project I hoped to see in print next year.

“Local Boy Makes Good.”
*a. Auburn Journal (3 November 1941): __ (unsigned).
*b. Weird Tales 36, No. 4 (March 1942): 119-21 (under heading “The Eyrie”; as “Clark Ashton Smith—His Life and Letters”).

Thanks for the link, BTW. We were missing the WT page numbers.

Is there any possibility tо know true full name of the V. H. in "The Traveller" — that story is dedicated to him or her.

Almost certainly Vivia Hemphill, Smith's jealous "friend" in Auburn in 1921-1922. There are a couple mentions in Shadow of the Unattained.
