"All Hallows" is a fantastic story, one of the best by de la Mare, along with "The Vats", "Out of the Deep" and "What Dreams may Come". He is definitely one of my most favourite weird/horror/sci-fi authors.

I've got to get back to de la Mare.

I have not seen so many of her old documentaries, and don't know what she has said about humanity in general. But she is a good person. And a beautiful woman. A worthy role model for the humans among animal species.

Last night I read "The Birds" at last and I really enjoyed the story. I am definitely going to read more by Daphne du Maurier.
