Scott Connors has created a Patreon page for his biography of Clark Ashton Smith. I have been looking forward to this book for close to 20 years, so I am proud to be its first Patron. :)
I’m really happy to support this Patreon project as well. I just last night read Scott’s essay “Clark Ashton Smith in Carmel†in the Anno Klarkash-Ton tribute volume, and it reminded me how much important biographical work Scott has already done on CAS. A full-length critical biography by Scott Connors will be most welcome, and could help to bring CAS’ work to a wider audience, even those who may be dismissive of a writer with strong connections to pulp fiction.
