Zothique Maps

The two versions of the new Zothique map are wonderful, but I can't seem to get them to scale in size. Whenever I open the file, the map blows up to larger than my screen can show at one time (I have a 19" monitor). Is this a feature of the map files, or am I doing something wrong?

Its screen resolution not monitor size that matters if you want to see them with out have to modify. The smaller one is 1800x1165 and wont be viewable all on one screen for most people

IE 6 will resize images larger than your window for you automatically.

You could just save one or other and use a graphics app to resize it. I would suspect that most people would have something that would do the job.

Yeah. I wanted them to be readable when printed. Unfortunately, current web browsers will default the file to your screen resolution, so if I create a file for a low-quality laser printer it will still enlarge three times as big on your monitor. As Boyd said, it's best to save to disk; import, resize and print it from another program that can resize graphics.

Any suggestions on a good program that'll allow me to resize with relative ease? I've been having the darnedest time trying to do this and I find it intensely frustrating. The map is attractive that I'd like to be able to look at it in its entirety.

I like and use AcdSee:

or look at Tucows and pick one:
