Ramsey Campbell "Cold Print" Critique

I have been reading the book "Cold Print" and I noticed that he seems to change ideas way to often.
In "Before the Storm" he switches back and forth from an office building to an underground city, in a rather vague way. When you begin to read identifying the characters can be a problem. Overall the organization and wording seems to be a little awkward and at times downright confusing, but overall the plot of the stories are incredible.

If you want to read Ramsey Campbell, be prepared to read the same passages a few times.

Cold Print is a very early collection. I would heartily recommend his latest, The Darkest Part Of The Woods as a mature and menacing contribution to the mythos (he revisits his old haunt Brichester).

I heartily agree with every word of your post, Mikey C. BTW, do you hail from northern England?

Hi Deuce -

Not me - I'm about as southern as they come!
