There is an essay I have written about CAS online at AustralianReader.com. Some of you have commented upon it already. At the moment, they have cut an accent from one of the names, and I am trying to get them to replace it.

Not bad, Phillip. Keep it up. It's good to see you spreading the word. I'd be curious to see what kind of reception it meets. (Incidentally, I picked up a nice copy of The Double Shadow and Other Fantasies, along with the original ad flyer [signed by CAS] and four signed typescripts from a dealer in your neck of the woods several months back.)
It occurred to me while I was proofreading "The Face by the River" for the umpteenth time that it may well be thematically related to "A Night in Malneant" in their depictions of obsessive grief and remorse, although told from the perspective of a murderer and a narcissist.
