I want to thank Boyd for mounting the color photo of Clark on the Website.
It is found on the back of Sword of Zagan. I had submitted it to Derek at Hippocampus Press for that purpose, and it was taken by myself in the back yard patio of the little house in Pacific Grove in 1959. Clark considered it his favorite and the best photo of him, his physique at that age of which he was justly proud, having worked hard his whole life to overcome a sickly youth, and be able to live a robust life, chopping wood, picking fruit etc, as well as living alone without public utilities most of his life,ia boldly seen. He stands there contemplating his sculptures, omnipresent cigarette holder, and the intensity characteristic of his alert, nimble mind, and to me, his mouth ready to burst into laughter or respond with a witty jest. It's my favorite photo also, although the one inside the book of our beach blanket luncheon brings back wonderful memories as well.
Thank you Boyd

And thank you, Dr F: you've made CAS come alive for me again without any nigromantic side-effects.

Yes. I don't think a writer could wish for a better memorial than a site like the ED.
