Does anyone know if the Amazon announced dates are correct for these volumes? They appear to be out of order, with vol. 4 due January 29, 2009 and vol. 5 due November 15, 2008. I know the Hippocampus poetry collections were published out of sequence. Is that the case here?

No. Night Shade Books has vol. 4 coming out in January 2009, and vol. 5 coming out in 2009 (no month specified).

Does anyone know the reason Nightshade books has postponed the release date so many times?

I think Scott said that there has been trouble getting copies of the original manuscripts needed for the books. But that has been taken care of, so I guess these new dates will stay firm (touch wood).

You will all be pleased to learn that Ron and I turned in volume 4, The Maze of the Enchanter, this morning, so the end of the wait will soon be over. And let me tell you, it was a beast--but it will be worth it. There have been extensive restorations to several stories, all for the better we hope.

The publicity email on their site seems to be the only address working anymore. None of the old ones seem to work.

I got through to Jeremy Lassen yesterday, and he wrote back that he is planning "a major web site/pub update" later this week. Keep your fingers crossed.
