CAS Poetry Awards Founder Frederick J. Mayer? Lost?

I'm trying to find out, after many years without contact, what's become of Frederick J. Mayer, the founder of the Clark Ashton Smith Poetry Awards that used to be handed out at the annual Fantasy Faire conventions in Southern California until about 1985.

When I search around the web now, I can't seem to find anything by or about him during the last two-and-a-half years or so.

His (mostly Clark Ashton Smith inspired) poetry can be found in numerous places, but he seems to have fallen off into that terrible silence that speaks so loudly of final things.

Please post something here (or drop me an email note by way of the address below) if you know about his whereabouts, condition, or a way to contact him (if that is still possible).

Many Thanks in Advance for your help.
