I have for sale an incomplete Ms of the first typed draft of "The Flower-Women:" eight out of fifteen pages, somewhat fragile, unsigned but with numerous holograph changes and emendations. First and last pages are present, and the last one has the date of completion handwritten. One page was typed over the holograph first draft, so there is a lot of Smith's handwriting in this set.
I also have for sale a damaged carving by CAS, of a small weird bird figure, carved from talc and fired in Smith's stove. The bottom of the right leg is broken off, and the beak is chipped. I don't have a digital camera but will try to get hold of one. These came from a cache of Smith's papers that was, unfortunately, not cared for very well, but they are still unique items.
