Thanks for posting those galleries; interesting classical choices. I might add a couple of classically-influenced artists from the comics field: Michael William Kaluta and Barry Smith.

It just struck me that it might be interesting to adorn a CAS collection of the Averoigne tales with medieval woodcut-style illustrations (Leo and Diane Dillon come to mind here).

Glad to see a little action here - the quiescence on the site has been troubling.
