Greetings,

Some of you may already have a copy of, "Call of Cthulu"
from these folks. IMHO, it is an excellent production.
Now, "The Whisperer in the Dark" will be coming out soon.
Trailers,etc. have been touring various cons for perhaps
six months. I sent an email to the company asking for a
date and got the reply, "We're shooting for Halloween."

I wonder how it would turn out if they were to tackle, "The Double
Shadow" ? Even though it is a a fantasy-land setting I think they
might do it justice and it doesn't need a "cast of thousands" or
other enormous productions costs. Sets like, the chamber of evocation
or the chamber of conjuration lend themseleves to smaller sound stages.
They like to film a sepia-type effect and that would work too. At least
I can dream,...

It's actually called THE WHISPERER IN DARKNESS. I haven't been able to view it on the big screen, but I was able to watch the DVD that was sent here for the Seattle Film Festival. What a magnificent production. I look forward to owning it. HPLHS is also planning on recording some new adventures for their amazing DARK ADVENTURE RADIO THEATRE. If ye haven't heard these, they are exceptionally fine dramatic recordings of four of Lovecraft's best tales. Brilliant.

Thank you for the title correction (sheepish look). My bad.

I just ordered the "Mountains of Madness Combo"! I hope it
will tide me over until "Whisperer" is out. Tomorrow or
thursday it's off to B&N for the HPL cum Martinus Complete Ed.
(Now I'll have two - one corrected, one not. Yard sale time?)
