I'm writing a book on the mental health of R.H. Barlow. Does anyone know where I can locate more information on peoples opinions of Barlow or the famous 'lost drawing' incident between Barlow and Howard Wandrei? I believe somebody, maybe Scott Connors, mentioned Donald Wandrei's hurtful opinions about Barlow; calling his mannerisms 'queer', 'odd',etc. I think I have painted a clear enough picture of what I want. If anybody can be a compass I sure would appreciate it. Thanks :)

Among other things, you might want to get a copy of Kenneth Faig's The Unknown Lovecraft, which has two very informative pieces on Barlow, as well as E. Hoffmann Price's Book of the Dead. There is some material which may prove of help in the Arkham volume of CAS's letters (e.g., pp. 323-25), though this may be a bit too general for your needs....
