Congratulations to regular contributor Charles O'Connor on his achieving his BA! Wish I could be there, this is a proud day for you and your parents - now get writing!

With much fondness,
Dr.F

Congratulations! Are you hoping to continue your studies at some point?

I am so happy to hear of your graduation, and i hope we can persuade you to take up some Smith studies in your spare time. ;)

Congratulations, cousin Charles! Now that you are no longer a callow undergrad, we expect great revelations.

Thank you Dr. Farmer. It was a tough road, battling all those school requirements, but I'm glad to have finally made it!! :) And Yes, I will get right to writing. So many ideas well up in my brain that sometimes it's overwhelming.

Hi Philip,
Thank you for the kind words my friend. I'm not sure about continuing my studies yet. I hope to eventually. My main objective is to work as an archivist in some form or fashion. Hopefully this will be in my future.
I'd love to delve into CAS Studies!!! This may be a bizarre question but how do I begin? lol.

Thank you very much Scott. I won't let anyone down. I'll reach for the moon (after uttering a few chants from this dusty book I found in a chest upstairs in my grandfather's house during his estate sale ;)

Thanks again my friend,
C.

Thank you Gavin my friend. You can believe I'll put forth my absolute best in each thing I do. Having good people such as yourself helps me and examples set from people like CAS, Barlow (the research for the book I'm planning is going well by the way), and Lovecraft.

Thank you my good friend and brother Wilum. It was a long, tough road but I'm glad I traveled it. If I didn't I wouldn't have realized the love I have for constructing weird tales and journeying to find who I am in this wonderful field, as well as meeting great friends along the way.

Probably the same way that a lot of us do: read CAS, read items about him and his writings, and write what interests you about him. For me it was writing about the poetry most of all, with the occasional book review thrown into the mix. Now, with the software and skills, I am working towards a concordance of the poetry, with more papers to follow, papers that will use the concordance to help winkle out themes and images that interest me.

At the same time, I recommend investing in a solid collection of secondary items, such as bibliographies and literary studies, and, where possible, copies of the journals about him. Keep an eye on the major names, also, that crop up, and most of all: follow your passions.

Last piece of advice: network with other CASians.
