Is it just me, or does the website look unusually... austere?

It did for me, too, until I switched off "Compatibility View" in Internet Explorer.

its the new minimalist look i'm trying out :-)

--something broke, its back, i do ZERO maintenance on the site, i'm surprised its still working.
