Speaking of collecting CAS, something coming this Spring which will be quite collectable is the forth coming book Anno Klarkash-Ton...besides having some outstanding articles, art, stories, poetry and prose poems from such talented folk as Wilum Pugmire, there will be material worth having concerning Smith historically, such as, in my Introduction you will find information about Clark people may not commonly know, postcards sent by Smith to Annie Gamwell, who returned them to Smith as a "momento mori" after Lovecraft's death. CAS, in turn, gave them to Helen Sully whom Scott Connors obtained copies when he visited her at her Auburn home (Thanks to impressive Scott for contributing them, among some other fine items, to Anno and appreciation to William A. Dorman, Smith's step-son, for permission to publish them) and the long unseen piece by Frank B. Long on Clark Ashton Smith as poet (here much gratitude goes to Danny Lovecraft for kindly allowing it to be withing Anno). And, there is even more nifty material! So keep your collecting eyes out for this fantastic book (which is the brain child of the excellent editor Glynn Barrass) coming from equally excellent Rainfall Records and Books!
