From the Samuel Loveman collection. Clark Ashton Smith's original manuscript of his sonnet entitled, Autumn Twilight, dated January 11, 1916. Published as "November Twilight" in Ebony and Crystal and in Selected Poems. This manuscript is typed, with a small holographic correction to the first word. The text is identical to the printed version in Selected Poems, except in line 7, where there is a comma between the words "ghostly" and "faint".
