Hello,

I just got my copy from Hippocampus Press directly yesterday. Now I have to schedule some time to read it and stop buying more books.

Am I missing something on this series? Why is volume 3 out before 1 and 2?

1 and 2 fell through the rabbit hole!.

3 was easier and quicker to do so they did it first. Better than having to wait.

That's my understanding, essentially. As these were the translations, it took less in the way of commentary, etc., so it could be put out earlier.

Thanks for clarifying. Makes sense.

I've had an email from Hippocampus saying they are no longer accepting discounted subscription orders (+free book & CD)after last Friday (22/6).

Volumes 1 & 2 have been slightly delayed again and will now appear in early March, but as you may have seen there are now blurbs for them at the Hippocampus website. #1 will be called The Abyss Triumphant and #2 The Wine of Summer.

I'm glad to hear that volumes 1&2 will be out soon! Volume 3 was an excellent read and is eagerly awaiting its companion volumes. Together these dark tomes shall usurp shelving that was once home to lesser writings.

As a subscriber, I eagerly await the CD with Donald Sidney-Fryer's reading of "The Hashish Eater".

March should also see the publication of Donald Sidney-Fryer's "Atlantis Fragments".

I have already made space for them in my collection, right next to CAS's Selected Poems. :-)

I have a CD (but not this one) of DSF reading that poem. Magnificent!!

I trust you got the newsletter saying that people pre-ordering the book straight from Hippocampus will get their name in a special appendix in the book? ;-)
