No, it's real. I know the seller, and he's a reputable dealer and collector. I remember when he first bought this. I suppose it's possible that somebody could make a casting from one of the original castings, just as Mike Walz made one of Smith's "Werewolf" and offered it as a resin replica, but this one has a pedigree.
