Hi folks,

I'm reading some tales from The Collected
Fantasies Vol. 1 and I must say I'm deeply impressed.

Stories read so far:

To the Daemon
The Tale of Satampra Zeiros
The Last Incantation
The Abominations of Yondo
A Night in Malnéant

All tales exceptionally fine with the last two my personal favorites.

Is it your first time reading CAS? It is a powerful experience, but custom doesn't stale him.

I'm particularly going to envy your reading "The Door to Saturn" when you get to it-- that's one tale that never gets tired but is always especially fun that first time.

I am hoping you will read "The Sword of Zagan" - ostensibly to get a taste of his childhood development, but really to read my memoir of him (and so I get my $1.50 of the sale price)
Dr. Farmer -
welcome to the most rewarding esoterica you can find

Hi all,

I just finished two fine pieces:

SADASTOR - Wow!! Beautiful compressed epic. One of my favorites.

THE NINTH SKELETON - Fine descriptions and imagery, strong atmosphere.Good short marred only by a weak and anticlimatic ending.
