There is lots & lots of Mythos activity forthcoming. In November, Bloodletting Press will release their new Lovecraftian porn novel by Edward Lee, THE DUNWICH ROMANCE, a novel that ye publisher is calling "so explicit and so sublimely obscene." Arcane Wisdom Press has just publish'd Vol. I of their two-book set of H. P. Lovecraft's revisions & collaborations, annotated by S. T. Joshi. The first volume, THE CRAWLING CHAOS AND OTHERS, includes such Mythos gems as he Last Test," "The Curse of Yig," "The Electric Executioner" and "The Mound." Miskatonic River Press is bringing out some swell Mythos titles. Recently they publish'd DEAD BUT DREAMING II, and in October they will publish THE STRANGE DARK ONE--TALES OF NYARLATHOTEP. They will soon publish DISSECTING CTHULHU--ESSAYS ON THE CTHULHU MYTHOS, compiled & edited by S. T. Joshi. Of course, the magnificent Joshi gave us the definitive study of ye Mythos, THE RISE AND FALL OF THE CTHULHU MYTHOS. Centipede Press will soon publish MASTER OF THE WEIRD TALE--FRANK BELKNAP LONG, with will include all of his Mythos classics, including the full novel, THE HORROR FROM THE HILLS, partially inspir'd by a dream of H. P. Lovecraft's. Chaosium has finally issued THE YITH CYCLE and has a book forthcoming of Cyber-punk Cthulhu Mythos tales. Perilous Press has a line of Mythos titles, the newest of which is THE WOMB OF TIME, featuring two remarkable novellas by the superb Brian Stableford. Dark Regions Press will release a Mythos collection, GATHERED DUST AND OTHERS, next month; & next year they will published ENCOUNTERS WITH ENOCH COFFIN, co-authored by Jeffrey Thomas and featuring a sinister New England artist who confronts Mythos misadventures in Boston, Providence, Kingsport, Dunwich, Arkham, &c. The most exciting writer today who is delving into Lovecraftian matters in Laird Barron, and at the end of this month his remarkable Lovecraftian novella, THE LIGHT IS THE DARKNESS, will be publish'd by Infernal House. Lots & lots of Mythos reading in store!
