I just finished reading Clark's fascinating and beautifully written prose piece "The Forbidden Forest" and have unearthed some curious parallels to R.H. Barlow's tale "The Bright Valley". Does anyone on this board besides myself own Eye Of The Gods: The Complete weird fiction and Poetry of R.H. Barlow? If so reread his tale "The Bright Valley". I've already detected a few identical themes. I'm interested in discovering what other people can pick out. :)
