Increasingly I've been having troubles connecting to the ED server. I've lost several responses, also, when the server went down (apparently), leading me to feel embittered and despondent...

Seriously, is anyone else seeing this?

If you try to post when you have ED open in multiple windows (and maybe with more than one post draft pending), it can cause problems. I have lost posts this way. I don't know if this was your issue, or something new. Maybe try shutting down extra windows & see if it solves your problem.

Thanks but it's more pervasive. I often cannot access the site at all, getting a Mozilla "unavailable server" message.

The loss of posts comes when I have successfully accessed the site, have written a post, and press the submit button. Nothing happens, subsequent attempts to either submit or navigate to a new ED page cause no response either, and backing out of the page and trying again results in the "unavailable server" message again.

This would seem to mean that I lost server connection while in the process of composing the post.

It started intermittently maybe one month ago, instances have been increasing, and yesterday the site was unreachable for > 6 hours in aggregate.

Oh, well...!
