I have a couple of questions in regards to Smith's fragments "The Infernal Star" and "Ascharia"- specifically monsters mentioned therein.
In "The Infernal Star" on Pnidleethoon the dreamer encounters "a million larvae of alien horror, a million chimeras of the further cosmos". Are these supposed to be extraterrestrial demons and composite monsters?
In Smith's "Ascharia" detailed summary, the colossal army encounters horrible beings that emerge from a sea on the night side of the planet. Are these beings evil alien warrior colossi of some sort, monsters, or both?
