I have a fanzine, GODFREY DANIEL #1, from 1971 or 1972 published by Jim Turner of Columbia, Missouri. I wonder if this is the James Turner of Arkham House? The date seems about right (a year or two before he took over as editor at Arkham) and he's in the same state. And this Turner is an SF fan, as was the Arkham Turner.

Sounds right. Turner was living in East St. Louis, IL when he passed away, and Columbia isn't that far away.
