Image under copyright?

I have already thought out a proper book cover for my first anthology, just planing in advance, though not set in stone. It is the cover for The Star Treader. The black hooded form with nothing but blackness for a face and a weird onyx castle in the background. Is this under copyright? If so or if not would it be better to create my own cover?

I'm sorry, the title I meant to say was "Star Changes: The Complete science fiction of Clark Ashton Smith". (2005).
