If you read my other couple posts you know that I've ordered vols. 1-3 and that I'm new to CAS.
It is my understanding the volumes as published are arranged chronologically. So I think that such
a list would be helpful. Probably his works were so catalogued long ago. But I just don't know and
by the way if such a list is already a part of the "Collected Fantasies" series than please accept
my apology and forgive my ignorance.

I believe this is the very list you want. I'm not sure ho up to date it is or if the Collected Fantasies will in any way change things, but as far as I know (which is not a lot) it shows Smith's stories by cycles.
