Now...if anyone who has Roy A. Squires' Catalog 8, could they please send me the description of item 123? I think that this is a letter from WT editor Farnsworth Wright, March 23, 1934 that had some of HPL's comments written on it. I have the notations, but would like to know what Wright wrote in the letter. Thanks!

Hi Scott, Glad to see someone else who has interest in Roy Squires material. The info you requested-

123. Letter from Farnsworth Wright to Clark Ashton Smith. One page on Weird Tales stationary, no signature : merely "Wright", typewritten. Written primarily in rejection of The Clouds (published in The Fantasy Fan as The Primal City), the letter also discusses The Colossus of Ylourgne (to appear in WT later in the year) and acceptances of poems by Robert Nelson and Miss Penfield. Smith had sent this letter to Lovecraft who returned it with over 100 words of holograph commentary-- praises The Clouds and damns WT. Signed Ech-Pi-El. With envelope from HPL to CAS. 65.
